Another update...so soon! Let's see, I got rejected for unemployment, so I'm very broke until school starts and I get a job on campus. Mom says I should try to get a job at Hot Topic at the mall in Orland, that would be totally lovely. Alas, I fear I am not cool enough for the position.

In the mail: I received a three foot long pillow of the weinermobile yesterday, and a Bette Midler t-shirt today! I'm wearing the shirt to Warped this year, so I'm pretty stoked about that.

I went and saw Jacob...last weekend? Yeah, I think it was! I gave him his Oprah tape, I taped Oprah for him, she had the country divas on, so how could I refuse? And then Mom decided to help me out and take an impromptu trip to Champaign, so he met up with us, and the rest was history. I *HEART* Jacob.

I'm currently trying to win a Hello Kitty phone for my dorm room, it's got a few minutes left. By the time I figure out the right quotes for this entry, I'll give a better update, on if I won or not. My plans for my room are taking shape nicely, and I'm amassing quite a bit of pink/Hello Kitty stuff. Quite a turnaround from back in the day. My, if you had told my angsty little britches five years ago that I would be scouring Target for cheap Hello Kitty stuff for my room, I would have said, "Cracka, please!" But here I am. I don't believe I'm coming out of the depression, just find whatever inane little things can make me happy.

So yeah, I'm pretty sure that's it for now. I don't go back to school until the very end of August. And my phone number is the same: 834-6050. You'll be ringing me on my Hello Kitty phone. Yep, I won it! Go me!
